Past experiences can often have an effect on you in the present. Sometimes the feelings that are generated through these experiences can be difficult to understand and control in the here and now. This is often when people decide to seek help, so that they can make sense of these feelings and stop them from feeling overwhelming.

I provide a safe and confidential arena where you can explore some of the difficult feelings that may be coming up for you. Together we can look at how you can get to what is troubling you and what may have been holding you back, with a view to living wholly in the present.

Through our exploration together, you can gain a deeper understanding of what you are feeling and why. Eventually, I hope that you might be able to work through these past difficulties and make changes to your life that can be positive, effective and can bring lasting change.

I believe in therapy's ability to affect the spiritual growth of a person. This process involves trusting a professional with material that is personal and sensitive. With this in mind, I subscribe to the BACP ethical framework, that covers the areas of confidentiality, ethics and inclusion of reliable and safe boundaries and adhere to the UKCP'S mission and values covered in the Ethical Principles and Code of Professional Conduct.

I work in twice weekly long - term therapy and also in once a week short - term therapy.

I am a UKCP Registered Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist working in the corporate workplace and in private practice.

I am a member of AGIP The Association for Group and Individual Psychotherapy, The Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis College and a Qualified and Accredited Counsellor/ Psychotherapist with the BACP.

I have nineteen years of experience working in private practice, organisational settings and the corporate sector.

I have specialised working with young people and worked with people of all ages affected by substance abuse and addiction.

I have substantial experience of working with people who have undergone trauma and abuse, severe anxiety and depression and /or loss and emotional deprivation.

Whatever you bring, my hope is that our work together can be supportive and empowering, and this discovery and understanding of who you can be, will be affirmative and lasting.
